Quick Tour - Online Stories 1

The online episodes cover a number of topics that have their basis in Burton in 1881. The characters in the online stories are drawn from the characters on the Virtual Burton CD-ROM.

Each episode has four main characters through which learners can follow the story. Charlie Bland and Nellie Bass feature in the first episode.

If the learners are working in a computer room with an internet connection to a network then any of the characters can be chosen on any computer. For example, there could be 5 learners viewing the story through the eyes of Charlie on 5 different computers and 6 learners as Nellie. Each learner is able to progress through the story at their own pace and take their own route.
